I have been wanting to attend a consultant training for a year now! Things have kept popping up so I wasn’t able to commit to trainings that presented themselves in New Zealand and Australia. For the previous post in the series click here. Now to Lorette, I was truly amazed by her! See how happy I was to have met and trained under her! Her gentle yet focussed approach to the preparation and organisation of the course was refreshing. Having graduated with a BA in Primary and secondary degrees, I found her pedagogical approach particularly strong and informed while she conducted the training. Another particular teaching approach I appreciated is that Lorette allowed people to sit or stand in the way they felt most comfortable while she taught. Personally I found this very liberating because I find it most comfortable to sit on the floor (culturally, in Samoa, this is also very normal).
